Please prepare your files in the following manner so the Virtual Packaging Team can produce your mock-ups more quickly and confidently. By following these guidelines you also help to eliminate error and ensure that your project will be delivered correct and on time.

• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop files, any version.  We do not support any page layout programs like Quark or InDesign.
• Outline all Fonts.
• All artwork needs to be CMYK not RGB.
• We do not support DCS files.  Merge all Spot Channels and save them as .EPS files.
• Illustrator’s “Document Raster Effects” need to be set at 300dpi.
• Send all linked files for any Illustrator files that need them even if the images are embedded so that we may make proper color corrections if needed.
• Do not apply Overprint or trapping.  Our printers do not always output these correctly.
• Dielines and Masks need to be in separate layers.

• Pantones need to be named properly.  Please reference or use the PANTONE solid coated swatch library in Illustrator.
• Send Hard Copies or PDFs for proofing.
• Archive/Zip/Compress all files before uploading them to the FTP.   (FTP Information)
  
  In instances where Virtual Packaging is required to make adjustments to artwork that does not meet the above criteria, an additional charge will be incurred at the rate of $95.00 per hour.
  
  Mask Layer can be created in house for an additional charge of $45.00 for the first mask, and $20.00 for each additional.
